To benefit from SciCore's academic programs, incoming students should meet certain minimal achievement standards in mathematics, English composition, and English comprehension. Consequently, all student candidates must pass a written examination prepared by the academy prior to admission. In borderline cases, deficiencies may be remedied in a summer program held at SciCore Academy.
Equally important to the admissions process is a formal interview with prospective students and their parents. This interview is a chance for students, parents, and the admissions counselor to explore expectations on both sides. It is important for students and parents to understand SciCore's commitment to strong academic standards in a positive learning environment. To achieve this environment, students must be prepared to make a commitment to uphold the values of academic honesty, fair play, persistence, and adherence to behavioral norms.
To reserve a spot in the upcoming school year, parents should submit a $650 deposit per new student and $600 per returning student, which will be applied to the annual tuition. Need-based partial and full scholarships are available.The tuition and fees for the 2024-25 academic year are $12,400 per year for a single student. The rate for two students from the same family is $20,100; the cost is $25,350 for three students. Tuition payments are made through FACTS tuition management system, which offers monthly and quarterly plans. Tuition payments are non-refundable. International Students are required to pay the entire year’s tuition at matriculation.
Additional school costs include school uniforms (available from Lands End), calculators (when required), notebooks, and cost of field trips ($30-45 per trip; typically 2 or 3 field trips per year).
Additional optional services include Bus or van transportation ($440 per month round-trip door-to-door service; $240 per month one way; 25% reduction for three-mile radius, 25% reduction for siblings; 20 % East Windsor discount) and Aftercare ($160/month for 1 hour; $210/month for 2 hours; $230 per month for 2.5 hours). Before-care is available from 7:30 – 8:20 A.M. at no additional charge.
